Also bubbles under the paint from were the new pain no longer sticks to the old paint underneath. Next you need to filling holes and repair cracks. This can be done by hand if you know how to plaster or you an call a professional. Once this is done you are ready to paint.

Painting and Working Safely

Painting and working safely means using the right equipment. This includes good quality paint, ladders, brushes and rollers. Also you need to have drop sheets that will stop the paint from getting on unnecessary surfaces. You also need to work at hight sometimes , this includes being on ladders, roofs and scaffolding. Always makes sure you use the correct saflty equipeemnt including scaffolding and roof protection edges.

It is recommended that you paint 3 coats to make sure that the old colors do not come through and so that the painting job lasts longer.

Finish and Clean Up

Once you finish painting is is important to clean up. Wash your brushes and rollers out and put the equipment away. Sometimes it is better to trough our your brush or roller even though it is a good quality. This is because sometimes it is difficult to clean them properly, so next time you go to paint you will get more runs, blotches and other problems.
